Today is a day full of celebration for me, not only is it the fourth of July but Vintage Soul Designs turns one. As I typed the title of this blog post I could feel the tears in my eyes. I cant even begin to explain how amazing it feels to say that I not only own my own business but that I have owned it for a year. Interior design has changed my life in so many ways to the beautiful friendships I have made through school to the creative aspect of it.
Read MoreWhile we were in St Michael’s a few months ago we visited one of our favorite spots Flamingo Flats( sadly it has closed but we will always remember the sweet owner and the lovely people who worked there). While we were there we found these Chesapeake Bay place mats that are double sided and perfect for the summer. Our pothos plant with some little flags added the perfect fourth of July touch to our dining table.
Read MoreLast Friday my husband and I ventured to a local barn sale and it did not disappoint. This was my first time visiting this barn sale but I know that it wont be my last. One of my favorite local small shops was set up there and I discovered a few more vendors that I fell in love with. The barn is nestled off the road a ways with beautiful views and the horses they have on the farm are also beautiful.
Read MoreCozy all year! that’s exactly how I want to be. It may seem a bit odd in the summer time but to me its more then just being bundled up( though I still enjoy that some nights too). Cozy has become a feeling of comfort for me and our home is starting to reflect that.
